Southern Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (14 1/2 ounce) cans cut green beans
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 slices bacon
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon granulated brown sugar, depending on taste
1/2 - 1 cup minced onion, depending on taste
1/2 - 3/4 cup milk, depending on taste
1 cup French's French fried onions
garlic, to taste
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute onion with garlic and bacon.
Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces.
Empty 4 cans cut Green Beans into 9 x 13 casserole dish.
Combine 2 cans condensed Cream of Mushroom soup with milk, salt, pepper, brown sugar, onion and bacon.
Pour soup mixture over Green Beans and mix well.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
Stir and top with 1 cup French's Fried Onions.
Return to oven and bake 5 more minutes or until onions are golden.
