Overnight Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
1/2 cup sugar
4 -6 green onions, sliced
3/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon celery seed
3/4 cup oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Preparation

Shred the cabbage and place in bowl. Sprinkle with sliced green onion. Then sprinkle with 1/2 c sugar.
In a saucepan mix vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar, salt, celery seed and mustard; bring to boil; add oil.
Pour over cabbage. DO NOT STIR.
Put in refrigerator overnight.
