Creamy Mashed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
    3 tablespoons heavy cream
    salt
    pepper
    1 teaspoon sugar
    2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled, quartered lengthwise, and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
Preparation
    Combine the butter, 2 tablespoons cream, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, sugar, and sweet potatoes in a large saucepan.
    Cook, covered, over low heat until the potatoes are fall-apart tender, 35-40 minutes.
    Off the heat, add the remaining 1 tablespoon cream and mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher; serve.
