Slow Cooker Sausage Casserole - Without Browning - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions (or green parts of Shallots)
    4 large carrots
    800 g chopped tomatoes (2 x 400g can)
    2 cups stock (vegetable or beef)
    14 sausages (beef or vegetarian)
    1 pinch salt
    1 cup long grain rice (optional)
    1 cup water (optional)
Preparation
    Place vegetables in the slow cooker.
    Pour over the stock.
    Lay sausages on top, and push down to submerge.
    Automatic setting for 8 hours.
    Optional: 1 hour before serving, stir in rice and water. Ensure you don't over fill your pot.
