Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 lbs ground beef
2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 yellow onion, diced
6 ounces tomato paste
3 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation

In large saucepan over medium high, heat the oil. Add all the spices. Cook, stirring constantly for 30 seconds. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 6 minutes.
Add the apples and onion, then saute for 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, broth and vinegar and bring to a simmer. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
