Chocolate Bar Cake Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup sugar
    5 tablespoons cornstarch
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3 cups milk or 3 cups half-and-half
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    8 ounces chocolate bars, chopped into small pieces
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla and the chocolate bar, in a saucepan.
    Stir constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Add the vanilla and the chocolate bar pieces.
    Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
    Pour into a bowl.
    Press plastic wrap directly onto surface; cool.
