Blackened Grilled Flank Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    2 teaspoons paprika
    2 teaspoons dried oregano
    1 teaspoon kosher salt
    1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (leave out if you don't want it as spicy)
    1 (2 lb) flank steaks, trimmed
    cooking spray
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients; rub spice mixture over both sides of steak. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours.
    Prepare grill.
    Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
    Let stand 10 minutes. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
