Potato, Ham & Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup butter
    3 cups milk
    4 cups ham, chopped
    5 cups potatoes, finely sliced
    3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add flour and pepper and cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in milk; Return to heat and cook, stirring often, until thick.
    In very large bowl, mix remaining ingredients with sauce.
    Bake in covered casserole dish(es) 60-90 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, removing cover after first 30 minutes of bake time.
    Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
