Vegan Cabbage, Carrot And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups cabbage, chopped
    8 leaves lettuce, any kind will do
    3 large carrots, chopped
    3 medium potatoes
    1 onion, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, undrained
    2 teaspoons salt
    6 cups vegetable broth
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 35 minutes.
    Remove from heat and use an immersion blender to thoroughly blend the soup. Serve immediately.
