Stewed Chicken And Macaroni ( Kotopoulo Me Makaronia) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs chicken pieces
    1 cup olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 cups tomatoes, chopped
    2 bay leaves
    1/4 teaspoon oregano
    1/4 teaspoon basil
    salt and pepper
    2 cups chicken stock
    1 lb pasta, cooked
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Rinse and dry the chicken pieces. Salt and pepper them well.
    In a large sauce pan, heat the oil. Brown the chicken, onions and garlic together.
    Add the tomatoes, chicken stock, bay leaves and spices. Stew the chicken over a slow heat until tender.
    Serve over the pasta of your choice with lots of grated cheese.
