Homemade Rosemary Tincture! - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 -5 sprigs fresh rosemary, of medium length,chopped into 1/2 inch strips
3/4 cup ninety-proof vodka (or any clear low-odor ninety-proof drinking alcohol, available from any liquor store)
Preparation

Gently\"bruise\" the rosemary strips by\"hammering\" very gently on the same.
Use your fist to do this on a wood cutting board.
Take an amber or dark glass bottle and pour the alcohol in it.
Add the cut and bruised rosemary strips to it.
Cover the bottle with its cap.
Shake vigorously for a minute.
Place in a cool and dark place for 6-8 weeks{shake for a minute every week}.
Strain the\"tincture\" from the remaining plant pieces.
Store in a cool and dark place.
