Bolita Di Keshi (Cheese Balls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb sharp cheddar cheese
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 cups flour
    garlic powder, to taste (optional)
    hot oil
Preparation
    Finely grate cheese.
    Add remaining ingredients except oil.
    Knead dough and cover with damp cloth for 1 hour.
    Shape into small balls.
    Drop into deep hot oil.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve hot.
    OPTION: Add 1 TBSP.
    chopped onion.
