Asian Shrimp Cocktail Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup apricot preserves
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1 fresh garlic clove, minced
    1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, ground
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients and refrigerate for at least one hour prior to serving on the side with either cocktail or grilled shrimp.
    NOTE: this blend can also be used as a \"mop sauce\" for grilled shrimp on skewers.
