Spinach Fettuccine With Garlic-Onion Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 lb vidalia onion, sliced
    12 garlic cloves, chopped
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/4 cup marsala wine
    1 lb spinach fettuccine, cooked and drained
    salt and black pepper
    parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Heat butter and oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cover and cook until soft. Add honey; reduce heat to low. Cook, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring often. Add wine; cook 5 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper. Toss sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
