Baked Rice Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup uncooked rice
5 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup sugar
1 liter milk
Preparation

Cook rice in plenty of boiling water.
Strain rice under the tap using cold water to get starch out.
Mix sugar, milk, egg and vanilla.
Add rice and stir well.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in moderately hot oven until set. (About 2 hours).
