Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
14 ounces low-sodium pinto beans, drained
28 ounces diced low-sodium tomatoes
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation

Brown ground turkey in a non-stick dutch oven or large pot along with onion, garlic and green pepper over medium heat until turkey is fully cooked. Drain off any excess oil.
Add spices and beans. Stir together for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer low for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
