Butter Toffee Crackers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 ounce) box town house crackers or (16 ounce) box Ritz crackers
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup margarine
    1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup Splenda granular
    1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts
Preparation
    Line a large lipped cookie sheet with foil.
    Place crackers end to end on cookie sheet.
    Combine other ingredients (except nuts) in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Pour over crackers.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
    When cool, break apart.
