Gingerbread With Streusel Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cup molasses
    1 cup hot water, scant
    2 1/2 cups sifted flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ginger
    1/4 teaspoon clove
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    Topping
    1 cup brown sugar
    3 tablespoons flour
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    3 tablespoons melted butter
    1 cup nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350*.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg, molasses and dry ingredients sifted together.
    Add hot water and beat until smooth.
    Pour in a greased 9x13 pan.
    Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top.
    Bake for 25-30 minutes.
