Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter
confectioners' sugar

Preparation

Combine the first six ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Add egg and butter and mix well.
Bake in a greased 8\" square baking pan at 350 degrees or til cake tests done.
Cool and dust with confectioner's sugar.
