Aloma'S Linguisa And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb linguica sausage, cut into bite size pieces
    1 cup rice
    2 cups water
    0.5 (16 ounce) bag mixed vegetables (optional)
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Cut Linguica into bite size pieces.
    Brown in skillet cooking about ten minutes over low flame.
    Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook 40 minutes or until rice is done.
    Serve hot.
