Cap City Diner'S Buttermilk-Chive Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 quarts diced potatoes
    1/2 lb butter
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    2 tablespoons fresh chives
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Simmer potatoes until fork tender.
    Heat buttermilk and butter.
    Mash potatoes and slowly add buttermilk and butter.
    Season with salt, pepper, and fresh chives.
