New Orleans Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    2 lbs pecans
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 lb candied pineapple
    1 lb candied cherry
    1 lb candied date
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
    Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until frothy;
    Coat fruits with flour mixture (flour and baking powder).
    Add egg mixture.
    Line 2 loaf pans with wax paper and dump 1/2 mixture in each pan.
    Bake in oven for 1 hour.
