Cajun Chicken Pasta - Ww Modified - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 ounces whole wheat linguine
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, diced into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 cup fat-free half-and-half
3/4 teaspoon basil
3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook linguine until al dente.
Coat chicken with cajun seasoning and saute until cooked.
Add peppers, mushrooms and green onions; cook for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce heat and stir in half-and-half.
Add seasonings and heat through.
Serve over warm linguine and top with Parmesan cheese.
**Could add a bit of cornstarch & water with seasonings, if you want a thicker sauce. **.
