Maw-Maw Gilman'S Peanut Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    2 tablespoons water
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 lb Spanish peanut
    6 -8 large bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Over low-medium heat, cook the egg, sugar, vinegar, water and butter until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Layer in serving bowl, alternating bananas, nuts and sauce.
    Cool.
