Vegetarian Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 flaky pastry dough
    1 beaten egg, to glaze
    FILLING
    300 g fresh breadcrumbs
    225 g cheddar cheese, grated
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    3 -4 tablespoons cream
    1 tablespoon chopped herbs (chives,parsley, coriander etc)
    1 1/2 teaspoons mustard powder
    1 pinch cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place all filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
    Roll out pastry, cut into long strips.
    Place sausage mix along edge and roll up to form a sausage shape.
    Cut rolls obliquely so that they form little diamond shapes.
    Snip each one on the top in three places with the end of some scissors, then brush with beaten egg.
    Bake on greased tray for 20-25 minutes.
