Leftover Lamb & Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, cut in thin slices
    3 tablespoons butter
    1 1/2 cups cooked lamb, cubed
    8 ounces beef gravy
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 cups cooked rice
    1/4 cup fresh parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    In a medium frying pan saute the onion in butter until soft and lightly browned.
    In a medium sized casserole combine the sauteed onions with the remaining ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake covered for 45 minutes.
