Blue Cheese Sauce For Steaks, Burgers, And Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 green onion, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon butter
    1 tablespoon flour
    2/3 cup milk
    1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
    1 tablespoon white wine or 1 tablespoon chicken broth
    1 teaspoon white pepper
    1 dash pepper sauce
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender.
    Sprinkle with flour; stir until blended.
    Gradually add milk.
    Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
    Add blue cheese, wine or chicken broth, white pepper and pepper sauce.
    Heat through.
    Serve sauce over meat.
