New West Chicken Salad With Pineapple And Grapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional add 1/4 tsp. curry powder)
    3 cups cubed cooked chicken
    1 1/2 cups halved red seedless grapes
    2 cups canned pineapple chunks, well drained
    1 cup sliced celery (or chopped water chestnuts)
    1/3 cup sliced green onion
    1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
    3 tablespoons red bell peppers, finely chopped (optional)
    2 tablespoons honey mustard (optional)
    1/2 cup broken walnuts
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and chill until serving time.
    To Serve:
    Sprinkle with additional walnuts and serve with a crisp green salad, baguette, and a nice glass of iced tea or lemonade, sparkling mineral water, chenin blanc or California chardonnay.
