Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large eggs, lightly beaten
    2 1/3 cups sugar
    4 cups whole milk
    2 cups half-and-half cream
    1/4 teaspoon . salt
    3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
    3 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
Preparation
    Combine 1st 3 ingredients in saucepan . .
    Cook over low heat 25-30 min stirring constantly until thick and coats a spoon.
    Chill well , stir in remaining ingredients , pour into ice cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
