Ham & Swiss Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 teaspoons butter or 4 1/2 teaspoons margarine
    4 1/2 teaspoons flour
    1 (14 ounce) can reduced-sodium chicken broth
    1 cup chopped broccoli
    1 teaspoon dried onion
    1 cup cubed cooked ham
    1/2 cup whipped topping
    3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in a sauce pan.
    Whisk in flour until smooth.
    Gradually add broth and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and stir for a couple of minutes until thickened.
    Add broccoli and onion.
    Cook and stir until broccoli is tender tender-crisp.
    Add ham and cream. Heat through.
    Stir in cheese and cook until melted.
