Real Hot Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup light cream
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus a pinch to garnish)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 ounces semisweet chocolate, roughly chopped
whipped cream

Preparation

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine all the ingredients, except the whipped cream, and heat until chocolate melts, stirring constantly.
Serve in mugs with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon.
