Cheddar Rum Spread - cooking recipe

1/2 lb grated sharp cheddar cheese, at room temperature
1/4 lb softened butter
2 -3 tablespoons jamaican rum
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
Preparation

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for an hour or so until flavors can blend.
