Southern Spiced Tea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cups boiling water
    5 tablespoons tea leaves (5-8 tea bags)
    1 lemon, juice of (2 T lemon juice)
    1 teaspoon whole cloves
    6 oranges, juice of (1 3/4 c orange juice)
    2 cups sugar
    8 cups water
Preparation
    Add boiling water to tea, steep 5 minutes.
    Strain (remove tea bags).
    Make a syrup by boiling the sugar, cloves and water.
    Add this syrup and fruit juices to the tea.
    Serve hot or cold.
