Whole Wheat Garlic Cheddar Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 7/8 cups whole wheat flour, sifted (it's just 2 cups minus 2 tablespoons)
    1/3 teaspoon baking soda
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/3 cup vegetable shortening
    2/3 cup skim milk
    1/2 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 cup light margarine
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0F.
    Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and vegetable shortening until crumbly.
    Add milk & cheese until dough forms.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cooking sheet.
    Bake 8- 10 min until golden brown.
    Mix butter and garlic powder. Brush over warm biscuits.
