Big Batch Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups natural bran
    3 cups all-bran cereal
    2 cups boiling water
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3 cups buttermilk
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup molasses
    4 eggs, beaten
    5 cups flour
    5 teaspoons baking soda
    1 tablespoon salt
    2 cups raisins (blueberries, nuts, dates or a combination of)
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine the bran, cereal, boiling water and let sit for 30 minutes.
    Combine the sugar, buttermilk vegetable oil, molasses, eggs in another bowl.
    In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt and the raisins. Add the bran and cereal; stirring well to combine.
    Add the dry ingredients to the flour mixture.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0F oven for 25 minutes or until cooked.
