Gingernut Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ounces flour
    1 pinch salt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    2 teaspoons ground ginger
    1 teaspoon mixed spice
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    3 ounces butter
    3 ounces golden syrup (warmed)
    3 ounces brown sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F
    Sift the flour, salt, baking soda, spices, and baking powder together.
    Rub in the butter.
    Stir in the brown sugar.
    Add the warmed Golden Syrup and mix well.
    Place 1 tbsp dollops on a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 8 minutes. Allow to cool for a minute, then transfer to wire rack to cool the rest of the way.
