Whipped Cream Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup whipping cream or 1 cup heavy whipping cream
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 1/2 teaspoons imitation vanilla
Preparation
    Chill bowl and beaters in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
    Whip cream until soft peaks form.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Whip mixture until stiff peaks form.
    Recipe makes enough to cover a 9\" pie.
