Aloo Beans (French Beans And Potatoes Punjabi Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons ghee
    1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
    1 tablespoon cumin seed
    1 tablespoon garam masala
    1 teaspoon ground cardamom
    2 cups small potatoes, halved
    1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
    1 teaspoon ground turmeric
    salt, to taste
    1 cup water
    1 lb French style green bean, trimmed
Preparation
    Heat the oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the ginger and stir-fry for 15 seconds. Add the cumin seeds, garam masala and ground cardamom and stir-fry 10 seconds more.
    Add the potatoes, tomatoes, turmeric, salt and water. Bring to a boil and then drop to medium heat. Cover with a lid and cook for 9 minutes, stirring once a minute.
    Add the beans to the pot and cook until they are tender, stirring once a minute (5 minutes).
    Serve immediately.
