Kansas City Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 cups cornmeal
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons melted fat
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and add the milk. Beat the fat with eggs until light. Add to batter and mix well. Pour into a very hot, well-buttered pan.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
