Basil-Balsamic Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup balsamic vinegar
    3/4 cup ketchup
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1 teaspoon orange zest, finely chopped
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk to combine.
    Bring mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reduced to consistency of barbecue sauce.
    Remove from heat, allow to cool, and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
