Kharshuf Matbukh - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 artichoke hearts, chopped
    2 onions, finely chopped
    1 lb beef, diced
    4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and diced
    cooking oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry onion in oil until soft.
    Add tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
    Add meat and seasoning and cook at further 15 minutes.
    Add artichoke hearts and cook until tender.
