Garlic And Lemon Carrots - cooking recipe

1 lb carrot, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon shallot, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation

Combine everything EXCEPT the lemon juice in a medium saucepan; cook, uncovered, over medium heat, approximately 15-20 minutes.
Stir often until carrots are tender and a little liquid is remaining.
Stir in the lemon juice and serve.
