Crustless Pear Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups pears, peeled, sliced
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    2 tablespoons almonds, chopped
    3/4 cup flour
    1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup cold butter or 1/2 cup margarine
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine the pears, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg; toss to coat. Transfer to a 9-inch pie plated coated with cooking spray, sprinkle with almonds.
    In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over top.
    Bake at 350F for 40-45 minutes or unitl golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack. Store in refrigerator.
