Walnut-Cream Cheese Finger Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ounces cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped and toasted
    2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
    1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon green bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    salt, dash
    black pepper, dash
    24 slices white bread, crusts removed
Preparation
    In small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, walnuts, parsley, onion, green pepper, lemon juice, nutmeg, salt and pepper until blended.
    Spread about 2 T over each of 12 bread slices; top with remaining bread.
    Cut each sandwich into three 1-inch-wide strips.
