Danish Sweet And Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs red cabbage
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup butter
    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    1 tablespoon sugar
    salt and pepper
    1/2 cup red currant jelly
Preparation
    Shred cabbage. Discard tough parts.
    Cook in butter, stirring for 3-4 minute.
    Add water, vinegar and sugar.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hours.
    Add jelly and salt and pepper to taste.
