Teriyaki Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup mirin or 1/4 cup dry sherry
    1/4 cup salad oil
    1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot
    2 cloves garlic
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
    Pour over desired meat in a large zip lock bag and marinate preferably overnight, but at least 3 or 4 hours.
    Makes enough for 2-3 pounds of meat.
