Ingredients

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 cup red wine
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes (can be Italian style)
3 -4 lbs chuck roast
2 bay leaves
Preparation

Combine first 10 ingredients.
Line a roasting pan with foil and grease the foil.
Place roast on foil.
Pour mixture on roast.
Place bay leaves on top.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 3-4 hours or until done to your liking.
