Easy Hash Brown Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb) bag frozen hash browns, semi thawed
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    2 -3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (optional)
    1/2 cup chopped onion (or to taste)
    salt and black pepper (to taste, I use seasoned salt)
    1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Set oven to 350 degrees F.
    Butter a casserole dish or baking pan enough to hold the ingredients.
    Mix all ingredients together adjust salt and pepper to taste.
    Transfer to a buttered casserole dish.
    Bake for 40-45 minutes.
