Ricky Skaggs Best Ever Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

Cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
Frosting
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 lbs confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Cake:
Mix all ingredients together by hand.
Pour into a greased and floured 9X13X2 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
Frosting.
Mix all ingredients together by hand.
Frost cake when cooled.
Sprinkle frosted cake with pecans.
