Sauteed Green Beans With Red Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs green beans (cut off ends and leave whole)
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    3/4 cup diced red pepper
    1 teaspoon dried basil (if using fresh basil, use 2 tsp)
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup boiling water
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil and saute garlic, onion and peppers, slowly, about 3 minutes.
    Add beans, basil, salt and the 1/4 cup boiling water. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
    Stir in half the parmesan cheese.
    Put in a serving dish and add the rest of the cheese on top.
